THE CLASH London Calling (Official French Sony Music Media 'Disque d'Or' in-house GOLD Award issued to commemorate album sales in excess of 100,000 copies in France. This nicely glazed award measures 9½" x 16½" in size, and features a great album artwork picture with torn effect lyric inner, mounted with the album artwork at the top and a Gold Compact Disc below. This unique and stylish award has no frame with everything mounted between three different layers of Perspex held together with 6 brass nuts & bolts, the top Perspex has been printed with the band name over the CD and has the authentic, custom dedication plaque on the front at the bottom - only the 2nd award we have ever had for The Clash!)
