LIFETIME Boys No Good (Rare 1996 US 7" vinyl single, with die cut picture sleeve, and also includes Somewhere In The Swamps Of New Jersey. Lifetime are arguably the best thing to come out of New Jersey since Bruce Springsteen [The B-side is actually a reference to Springsteens track Rosalita] with their fast melodic punk rock, that harbours a deep sense of emotion, when most punk bands just want to be tough and politcal! The title track is short and sweet with a sing along chorus thatis almost impossible to stop singing, and the b-side is a perfect homage to the New Jersey scene, and its tracks like this that Saves The Day, Thursday, Bouncing Souls, Gaslight Anthem, and almost any band you can think of that comes from Brunswick and beyond owe a hell of a lot too! An essential listen for anyone who was there at the time, or wants to know where their favorite bands took their inspiration from! JT1027)
