VARIOUS-FILM, RADIO, THEATRE & TV Capitol Radio Station Opening (Hard to find 1974 UK burbank Warner label promotional only vinyl 7" which was presented to the staff of Capitol Radio to commemorate the opening of their station on 16th October 1973. Side A opens as per the transmissions with the British national anthem 'God Save the Queen', then a message from the director Richard Attenborough followed by the Capital Radio theme jingle which was recorded by Blue Mink. Side B includes the recording of DJ David Symonds' opening speech on the day that Capitol Radio launched, where he gives thanks to the staff of the station who had made the station possible, this is then followed by the hit cover version of Neil Young's After The Goldrush by PRELUDE.
