DAVY GRAHAM The Guitar Player (1963 UK 12-track mono LP, which technically speaking was Davy's first album, although the real first album proper was 'Folk, Blues & Beyond' a couple of years later. That's not to put this one down too much, although it was more 'bread & butter' music than Davy is best known for, it still carries that magical interpretation and fine fretwork that was his trademark. The front laminated flipback picture sleeve shows a little age yellowing on the unlaminated back, some edge scuffing & a little light creasing, much as you'd expect after fifty years. The vinyl remains in nice EX-/EX condition with just a few light surface scuffs to show for all those years in the wild. A nice copy of this hard to find Davy Graham debut GGL0224)
