AFRIKA BAMBAATAA Planet Rock: The Album (1986 US original 7-track mini-LP on Tommy Boy, collecting the groundbreaking 12" releases dating back to '82, the same year the stone cold classic title track was released, incorporating elements of Kraftwerk’s 'Trans Europe Express' & the first documented use of an 808 drum machine in hip-hop/R&B. The rest of the record is no slouch either, including the classic single 'Searching For The Perfect Beat' & collaborations withMelle Mel & D.C.’s Trouble Fun. Housed in it's original open shrink with a HMV import sticker attached. The picture sleeve shows light edgewear & the vinyl remains in Excellent condition TBLP1007)
