VARIOUS MERCEDES, FERRARI, MASERATI, CONNAUGHT & MORE RACING CARS Three Pointed Star (Wonderful 1958 UK LP featuring of the 8th RAC British Grand Prix at Aintree in 1955, the 9th RAC British Grand Prix at Silverstone in 1956 & a whole side devoted to 1937 & 1938 Mercedes cars running at Oulton Park in 1958. Famous names involved here include Juan Manuel Fangio & Sir Stirling Moss, with commentary by Nevil Lloyd & interviews conducted by Laurence Pomeroy. No seatbelts & no fear, they raced round for hundreds of miles, often separated from the fans by a just few straw bales. This is a unique record of those often dangerous but exciting time in motor racing. The flimsy fully laminated flipback picture sleeve shows some not unexpected light shelfwear with a little laminate loss at the opening and bottom flipback but the lovely charcoal drawings on the frot still stand out.
