CREAM Wheels Of Fire (2013 Japanese promo sample issue of the out of print limited edition 17-track digitally remastered double SHM-CD [Super High Material CD - playable on most CD players], issued to radio stations and reviewers ahead of the actual release.
Originally released in 1968, this edition features the the 11-track album including the bonus recordings Anyone For Tennis and Falstaff Beer Commercial, along with the 6-track second disc 'Live At The Filmore', with a promo stamped iner rim on each disc, with a mini paper sleeve replica of the original silver gatefold picture sleeve with a red obi-strip & lyric book, along with a wrap-around gold version of the sleeve also with a red obi and a promo stickered SHM-CD series outer obi-strip UICY-76024/5)

The SHM-CD [Super High Material CD] format features enhanced audio quality through the use of a special polycarbonate plastic. Using a process developed by JVC and Universal Music Japan discovered through the joint companies' research into LCD display manufacturing, SHM-CDs feature improved transparency on the data side of the disc, allowing for more accurate reading of CD data by the CD player laser head. SHM-CD format CDs are fully compatible with standard CD players.
