CREAM Fresh Cream (2013 Japanese promo sample issue of the out of print limited edition 17-track digitally remastered SHM-CD [Super High Material CD - playable on most CD players], issued to radio stations and reviewers ahead of the actual release. Originally released in 1966, this edition features the 13-track Stereo version of the album including the bonus recordings Wrapping Paper, I Feel Fine and The Coffee Song, along with the 19-track disc featuring the Mono version & six songsfrom the French EP. Each disc is promo stamped, features a mini paper sleeve replica of the original front laminated picture sleeve with a red obi-strip & lyric book, along with second sleeve reproducing the French EP, with a promo stickered SHM-CD series outer obi-strip UICY-76022/3)

The SHM-CD [Super High Material CD] format features enhanced audio quality through the use of a special polycarbonate plastic. Using a process developed by JVC and Universal Music Japan discovered through the joint companies' research into LCD display manufacturing, SHM-CDs feature improved transparency on the data side of the disc, allowing for more accurate reading of CD data by the CD player laser head. SHM-CD format CDs are fully compatible with standard CD players.
