T-REX T. Rex - Deluxe Edition (2014 Japanese only promo sample issue of the limited edition 39-track digitally remastered Double SHM-CD [Super High Material CD - playable on all CD players], issued to radio stations and reviewers ahead of the actual release. Originally released in 1970, this edition has been expanded with six bonus recordings and an eighteen track Bonus Disc. Each disc has been promo stamped, with a mini replica LP style card picture sleeve reproducing the original, the bonus disc is within a seperate sleeve, with lyric booklet, information booklet and obi-strip UICY-76168/9)

The SHM-CD [Super High Material CD] format features enhanced audio quality through the use of a special polycarbonate plastic. Using a process developed by JVC and Universal Music Japan discovered through the joint companies' research into LCD display manufacturing, SHM-CDs feature improved transparency on the data side of the disc, allowing for more accurate reading of CD data by the CD player laser head. SHM-CD format CDs are fully compatible with standard CD players.
