MILES DAVIS Milestones (Archive Quality 1958 US first press 6-track deep groove mono LP on the 'six eye' Columbia label, with machine stamped matrices both ending '1D'. Features Miles' classic Sextet period, with Cannonball Adderley & John Coltrane also at the top of their game. Includes the essential title track plus Miles' wonderful take on Thelonious Monk's Straight No Chaser, pasted picture sleeve with original catalogue inner. The cover is in outstanding Excellent condition &is likely the best example you will find, with just the very faint beginnings of a natural hairline split in the paper along the spine of no concern, all text clearly legible. The vinyl is stunning Near Mint. Highly recommended, the original mono press is the only way to go! CL1193)
