THE UNDERTONES Teenage Kicks (Classic debut 1978 Irish solid centre 7" EP, the record that made a generation cry ('teenage dreams so hard to beat' now engraved on John Peel's tombstone), released in September 1978 on Belfast’s Good Vibrationslabel in a limited run & housed in a fold-out poster sleeve. This is the extremely rare PINK sleeve variant (others were white, mustard yellow, blue or green) with first issue 'Undertones' text on the poster side & upside down song titles inside. Also features the equally brilliant Smarter Than You, True Confessions & Emergency Cases. The sleeve has a little wear mostly along the top edge but nothing too concerning & is otherwise in very nice condition, with just some faint age yellowing in the corners & a vintage shop price sticker attached to the front, top right corner. The vinyl is Excellent to Near Mint with very little evidence of play at all in its life. Essential GOT4)
