SAM COOKE The Wonderful World Of Sam Cooke (Rare 1966 UK 12-track vinyl compilation LP which is dedicated to the talent of the late great Sam Cooke. This album explains his roots, his affinity to the church, his source of inspiration for the great songs he wrote that had thrilled millions through his own performances and the countless versions by countless artists in every language. This album is not a collection of his commercial outings but from the private collection of Allen Klein, who directed his career. The front-laminated flipback picture sleeve has personal tributes to Sam by Keith Richard & Mick Jagger, Eric Burdon, Roger Daltrey & Andrew 'Loog' Oldham and shows a little shelfwear to the edges and light discolouration to the unlaminated back while the vinyl appears in EX+ condition with only minor signs of play IMLP002)
