THE HISTORY OF ROCK The History Of Rock (1982 UK complete set of all FORTY volumes of the Orbis Publishing 'History Of Rock', with each [mostly] double LP volume featuring a collection of classic recordings by the original artists fromElvis, through The Beatles, Rock, Glam, Punk & The Sex Pistols to Elvis Costello. Each volume has a similar style gatefold sleeve with extensive notes inside. The Beatles volume is of particular interest as the second disc contains the Hollywood Bowl recordings from 1964-65. Some of the sleeves do show some light discolouration and the odd seam split caused during storage, whilst the vinyl discs themselves appear seldom played.
