MICHAEL CHAPMAN Rainmaker (Early 70s UK issue of the debut 1969 11-track stereo LP on Harvest, with 'Gramophone Co' perimeter text & without the EMI boxed logo or 'Sold In The UK' print. This album showcases all facets of Chapman's extraordinary talent, combining the funkiness of John Martyn with the fluidity of Bert Jansch in his guitar playing, all garnished with his unique vocal stylings & accomplished lyricism. The front laminated gatefold sleeve shows some shelf wear and ringwear, whilst the vinyl has just a few faint paper hairline scuffs to indicate play SHVL755)
