DONALD BYRD Royal Flush (Limited Edition 2013 US 6-track stereo double LP mastered from the original analog tape & pressed on 180gram Virgin Vinyl at RTI in Camarillo, CA as part of Music Matters' 'Blue Note The Definitive 45RPM Reissue' series. Recorded by Rudy Van Gelder for Blue Note in 1961, Royal Flush is a lovely early Byrd session performed alongside Pepper Adams, Herbie Hancock, Butch Warren & Billy Higgins. Comes housed in the highest quality gatefold cover which is a heavyweight & deluxe design with a glossy finish & original session photography on the inside. The sleeve is Near Mint & the vinyl discs are Excellent with very little sign of play MMBST-84101)
