PAUL McCARTNEY All The Best (Autographed 1987 UK 20-track double vinyl LP compilation featuring Paul's greatest solo & Wings hits, housed in the gatefold picture sleeve complete with lyric inners. This copy has been signed inside the gatefold by Paul and dedicated 'To Cherry love from...', complete with a doodle of one of McCartney's trademark 'funny faces' showing a glum fellow perspiring over what appears to be a sponge [?]. This might be explained by the fact that the dedication isto Cherry Alston, a renowned make-up artist at the BBC, working on not only Top Of The Pops, but also The Dick Emery Show, Alf Garnett, Play For Today and other celebrated shows of the day. The signature and doodle are wonderfully clear and unhurried showing that Paul took time & care to make this a really unique item. The sleeve shows minimal wear and the vinyl appears barely played; not only an autograph, but an art original to boot! PMTV1)
