MILES DAVIS On The Corner (2016 US issue of the 1972 4-track stereo vinyl LP. The album draws in influences from Indian & African music to James Brown & even Stockhausen, with outrageous mixing techniques, heavy bass grooves, wah wah, breaks,sitar, tape edits, courtesy of the masterful Teo Macero, & much more. Black Satin in particular is especially ahead of the game, & everyone from 23 Skidoo & Material in the eighties & Photek & Plug in the nineties drew influence from this incredible record, beautiful Corky McCoy single pocket picture sleeve. The sleeve shows a little wear [small crease to one corner] and the vinyl has some minor scuffs/hairlines not affecting play. Recommended PC31906)
