J B LENOIR Alabama Blues! (Scarce 1966 German 1st issue on the orange CBS label, front laminated picture sleeve with pasted reverse panel and company catalogue inner. Stunning set recorded in 1965, under the supervision of Willie Dixon, this album truly documents the social and political situation of black America during this period - a work of supreme importance, undertaken by a notable and highly regarded bluesman. The sleeve shows some light ringwear, a little corner scuffing and some discolouration to the reverse. The vinyl is superb, with just a few very faint hairlines visible under strong light - recommended)
