MONUMENT The First Monument (Rare 1971 UK 10-track LP, the only studio album from the occult British band, otherwise known as Zior, including such classics as Dog Man, Stale Flesh and Overture For Limp Piano In C, with picture sleeve. From the sleeve notes: "Vocalist and keyboard man Steve Lowe was a founder member of a thriving witches coven in Essex and the group's other three members all share his dedication to the occult, a dedication which shows in their music." Musically they come across as a much weirder Deep Purple with plenty of vocal histrionics. The sleeve shows some light edge scuffing with small corner creases and a bit of ringwear and, aside from a few light surface marks, the vinyl shows very few signs of play. The first copy we have ever seen! BEAS15)
