BOB DYLAN Another Side Of Bob Dylan (1964 UK 11-track mono LP, on a smooth & plain orange label. Initial first batch pressings for this album came with rough textured orange labels, pressed for CBS by Philips or Fontana. CBS only acquired its own manufacturing plant in 1964, and this is one of the earliest examples of a record that was pressed at the premises. The stamped matrices end 'IA'/'IB' & the label design differs slightly to the more common Philips/Fontana variant, still withthe boxed CBS logo with '33' speed declaration & 'Blossom Music' but now with '(P)1964' credit. The front laminated flipback picture sleeve shows light signs of handling & just a little age yellowing to the unlaminated rear, with the previous owner's name barely visible in the laminate at front. The vinyl shows a few signs of age with a few light hairlines, especially to I Shall Be Free-No. 10. Not Mint, but a perfectly decent play copy BPG62429)
