His legacy spans decades & genres, touching on jazz, pop, funk, hip-hop, rock and beyond and this impact greatly affected Fela's son Femi and his grandson son Made [Mah-Day]. This collaborative release 'Legacy +' is steeped in the tradition of Afrobeat: Femi's 'Stop TheHate' honors Fela in a traditionally fun, sharply political and affirming way while Made's 'For(e)ward' is a modern and progressive freedom manifesto, pushing boundaries of the subgenre even further. Both vinyl discs remain brand new UNPLAYED housed in the sealed gatefold picture sleeve which displays illustrated portraits of both Femi & Made by Brooklyn-based artist Delphine Desane!)
