THE BEACH BOYS The Smile Sessions (2011 US Deluxe limited edition Multi-Format box set for the most anticipated album in rock & roll history. Comprising 139-track FIVE HDCDS [which are drawn from the original masters and present an in-depth overview of The Beach Boys' recording sessions for the enigmatic album], TWO 180 gram vinyl LPs [featuring the full Smile album and sessions] and TWO 7" singles [Heroes & Villans and Vega-tables]. Also includes a 60-page casebound bookwith liner notes by Brian Wilson, Mike Love, AlJardine, Bruce Johnston and many more, a 12-page picture booklet and a 24" x 36" SMiLE poster. Housed in a 13" x 13" x 2½" two-piece picture box with die-cut 3-D version of the Smile album cover. The box on this copy has some marks to the front left edge where the top layer has worn through split shrink to expose the layer underneath. However, this remains factory sealed in the hype stickered shrink and has a 'Promotional Copy' sticker over the barcode on the back - priced advantageously)
