THE KINKS Arthur Or The Decline & Fall Of The British Empire (Very rare 1969 Australian first press 12-track STEREO LP on the black & silver Astor label, featuring songs intended for a television special that never materialised, with a plot revolving around the idea of exiting post-war England for life down under. Includes the single 'Victoria' & the track detailing the promise of life in 'Australia'. Comes housed in a silk laminated gatefold pocket sleeve with the original song hypesticker attached as well as the gold 'stereo' sticker & giant kangaroo image inside. The delicate sleeve is Excellent with the odd faint crease & and light scuffing, whilst the vinyl appears barely played with just little spinde! Hard to find in this condition! SPLP-1308)
