MAAJUN Vivre La Mort Du Vieux Monde (1971 French 12-track LP - with Jean-Pierre Arnoux (drums, vibraphone, saxophone), Cyril Lefebvre (guitar, organ), Jean-Louis Lefebvre (bass, violin, guitar, vocals), Alain Roux (saxophone, flute, harmonica, vocals) and Roger Scaglia (guitar, vocals); their only album, a great slice of experimental psychedelia, French style, drawing in almost anything imaginable: jazz, folk, ethnic, freak-outs and purely eclectic Gallic rock. A perplexing gamut of styles indeed! The front laminated picture sleeve shows a little light wear to the back flipback, whilst the vinyl looks hardly played. Only recently reissued by Souffle Continu, this is a rare opportunity to own the original - the first copy we've ever seen! SLVLX545)
