GENTLE GIANT Live - Playing The Fool (1977 Italian 9-track double vinyl LP on the green Chrysalis label, the official live album released after the band's 8th album 'Interview' featuring some superb highlights from the first eight albums showcasedin the band's highly accomplished and unique way of brilliantly modifying their tracks for live performance - as much due to their continuing innovation to the sheer complexity of the original studio version. Including the excellent 'Excerpts From Octopus' and a blistering amalgamation of 'Peel The Paint' & 'I Lost My Head' demonstrating just one of the many clever marriages of tracks for their astonishing multi-instrumental live sets. The gatefold picture sleeve which has a great inner spread design using a constellation to map the band's tour . The sleeve has only minor wear and all discs remain in near as new condition.
