THE HERD From The Underworld (Rare 70s German Emidisc issue of the classic 1967 12-track LP featuring a pre-Humble Pie Peter Frampton, unique picture sleeve variant. Based on the legend of Orpheus, in which the girl runs away from her lover &gets herself killed, the album opens with tolling bells then breaks into mid-tempo. It's beautifully scored & very tastefully done. The front laminated sleeve shows some light shelfwear with a small spine split whilst the vinyl reveals minimalsigns of play)
