THE CLASH Capitol Radio (April 1977 UK promotional limited edition 4-track 7" EP, originally only available by mail order to readers who sent off the coupon printed in the NME together with a red sticker found on the inside cover of the first10,000 copies of The Clash's eponymous album, which had been released that week. Features the 'punkier' version of 'Capitol Radio' plus 'Listen' & a two-part Interview with Tony Parsons, complete with a unique flipback picture sleeve with 'Picture Withdrawn' print on the back. The delicate sleeve grades 'Good' with creases from ring wear. There is a small split in the bottom edge, a split in the left hand edge & some small thumbnail splits in the top opening including a larger split visible. The Joe & Mick image is still clear & bright & there is no writing. The vinyl is clean & grades VG+ with just a few faint paper hairline scuffs not affecting play. A respectable copy of this highly prized punk collectable! CL1)
