GORILLA BISCUITS Gorilla Biscuits (Classic 1988 US Second Pressing 7-track 7" EP pressed on Opaque 'Banana' Yellow, with picture sleeve featuring purple lettering and Revelation catalogue/Trade list printed inside, as well as fold out lyric/picture insert, limited to 2000 copies. Does any band capture the Spirit of '88 more than Gorilla Biscuits? Probably not. Their contemporaries favoured a harder, aggressive sound of the time, whereas these kids from Queens added a bit more melody to their high-octane attack. High Hopes, Hold Your Ground, and No Reason Why were filled with youthful exuberance and built for singalongs with your friends just as much as they were jumping on somebody's head at a CBGB's matinee show. Recorded at the legendary Don Fury's studio in NYC, this particular pressing also features a slightly different mix to the first pressing from earlier that same year. In terms of the condition, the fragile wraparound sleeve has remained in Very Good condition since 1988, with only some minor creasing to show it's age. The vinyl itself, displays little evidence of play and remains in close to near mint condition. With so few of these early Gorilla Biscuits coming up for sale in this day and age, it's a pleasure to be able to offer this pressing for sale for the very first time here. Absolutely essential)
