JOHN LENNON Walls & Bridges (1988 US 12-track CD issue of the classic 1974 album. This copy remains factory sealed in the US only 12" by 6" Longbox format packaging that was eventually phased out on April 1st 1993. They were originally produced as a transitional measure to make sure that two CDs could fill the same 12" bins in store as the vinyl LPs that they were expected to replace. The Longbox normally contained, as in this case, enlarged album artwork with details on the reverse but they ended up carrying all sorts of messages from adverts to petitions)
