U2 Biography (1981 US Island promotional-only press pack issued to promoting the 'October' album, quite a find considering it's nearly 30 years old! Features a great pair of 10" x 8" black and white publicity photographs: the first taken the year before by Sheila Rook, depicting a very fresh faced U2 looking barely old enough to be out on their own; the second captured by Pennie Smith in 1981, a year on, and makes for a great comparative piece!. Also included is a 3-page Island press release detailing 'the story so far', detailing media attention for their previous album 'Boy', and the prospects for 'October' - issued on label headed paper, and presented in an Island label folder!
