TONY SHERIDAN & THE BEAT BROTHERS My Bonnie (Mein Herz Ist Bei Dir Nur) (Legendary German only 7" b/w The Saints. This was the very first Beatles record commercially issued anywhere in the world! Originally released in October 1961 with a German intro and was reissued in January 1962 with an English intro and slightly different sleeve. Tracklisting & More Information

The labels are orange Polydor scroll style labels with large or jukebox style centre hole. The print is clear with the title 'My Bonnie' in bold print with the German 'Mein Herz Ist Bei Dir Nur' bracketed in smaller text underneath with
the all important 'Rock' text underneath that. The band is credited as Tony Sheridan & The Beat Brothers.

The Vinyl has some hairline scratches and looks EX- however plays fantastically with almost no crackle! The matrix numbers are STAMPED with 'Made in Germany' also stamped into the run off groove.

The all important black and white sleeve features a picture of Tony Sheridan but NO picture of the Beatles as they were considered no more than a backing band.
There are no sleeve splits, however there is a 2cm tear to the top opening of the sleeve and some minimal creasing due to the fact that this item is now 43 years old! However, this genuine rarity is virtually impossible to find in any condition and this is by far the best example we have seen so far!
