The labels are in wonderful condition. What is unusual is that the record has an 'MT' tax code which was discontinued in July 1963! The tax code is still prominent on the side two label. The Parlophone logo is in bold yellow with the silver print clearly legible - there is no writing or any other blemishes on either label. There are only a few very light spindle marks around the centre of the labels indicating VERY little play - not bad for a 45 year old album!

The vinyl is in remarkable condition. As mentioned it has been played only a handful of times in the past (and once by us for grading purposes). It has been examined under the best light possible - both artificial and sunlight and no marks of any kind are evident except in the 'dead' vinyl where some very light hairlines are present. Fast becoming one of the hardest stereo LPs to find in mint condition!

Having played the album I can say I was amazed at the difference in listening to a first pressing stereo as opposed to a later repressing. The sound is glorious! There is no audible hiss, pops, crackles or background noise; the banding between tracks is almost silent, even at high volume - if that's possible on vinyl.

The original 'Use Emitex' poly-lined inner bag has no splits or tears.

The all important picture sleeve is usually found in varying conditions from poor to VG+. The laminated, internal flipback gatefold picture sleeve that accompanies this item is in fantastic NEAR MINT condition. The laminate is clean and undamaged with no creasing or lift. The edges are unworn apart from the very lightest scuffing at the corners, the spine is wonderful with 'pinched' ends, no scuffs and clearly legible print. The inside is quite often smudged or written on as it doesn't have the benefit of laminate - this copy however is clean and unmarked with secure flipbacks.
