THE BEATLES This Is The Savage Young Beatles (Rare original 1964 US 8-track mono LP released breifly on the Savage Record label before being withdrawn due to legal reasons. The album features four songs recorded in Hamburg during 1961 by Tony Sheridan & The Beatles with Pete Best, not Ringo on drums. This album contains some of the earliest known Beatles recordings, featuring Pete Best instead of Ringo Starr on drums.
It was withdrawn after Parlophone/Capitol threatened legal action against Savage Records as it had already successfully done against VeeJay.

The picture sleeve has an approx 2" split along the bottom edge and a similar size split along the top seam due to vinyl shift, however the vinyl has not gone through the original loose fitting sealed bag.

A 40 year old Beatles withdrawn album, still sealed - an amazing find!
