The exhibition was a collaborative multimedia site specific installation based on their research into fragments of lines from a putative poem by Wordsworth, which he never completed. The installation incorporated and made references to multiple and diverse intertwining ideas which link the heritage tourist industry to surveillance, the landscape painters of the 18th and 19th centuries (through the Claude Glass to rear view mirrors), telescoping time between the opening up of the Lake District in the 1800’s, through the Liverpool suburbs of the 1970’s to the present. As with all of Mills' installations, all elements are rigorously contextually anchored.
