Suburbia - Double Pack test pressings

PET SHOP BOYS Suburbia (An incredibly rare set of four x 1-sided 7" vinyl single white label test pressings produced in 1986 in advance of the commercial double 7" pack. Each single has a pale blue paper label on it's playing side which is handannotated with the relevant track and is housed in a plain paper sleeve. There is one single for each Suburbia, Paninaro and Love Comes Quickly Shep Pettibone Remix, with the fourth single for Jack The Lad & Surburbia. see MORE INFO...)

The Paninaro vinyl is date stamped 2 Sept 1986.

This is only the second set of these test pressings we have seen in nearly twenty years, and it's pretty unlikely we'll find another one given this set came from an extensive collection acquired by a devoted fan since the boys topped the charts way back in 1984.

The matrix numbers for all singles are machine stamped in the run off grooves and on the singles for Love Comes Quickly and Jack The Lad/Suburbia they are stamped with the numbers 'FSR684' - these two formed the 'extra' disc in the double pack.

The vinyl on each disc is virtually mint with hardly any sign of any of them having seen a turntable.
