In the days before shirt sponsorship, £100,000 a week wages and overseas investors, European finals were replayed in the event of a draw after extra-time.
This Cup Winners Cup replay in Athens was played just 2 days after the original match ended in a 1-1 draw with Real equalising just 10 seconds from the end of normal time!
The replay ended in glory for Chelsea but was to be their last European final for over 25 years...

Recorded in Mono and released by arrangement with BBC Radio Enterprises.

The record has a few light surface marks but is otherwise in mint condition.

The front laminated cover has very slight sleeve loss along opening edge but is otherwise in superb condition. The white 'matt' back cover shows a few signs of age with slight staining/foxing but is otherwise excellent with no other faults of any description.
