Tracklisting & More Information

This amazing Zeppelin treasure, obtained directly from Mel Bush, has made its own place in history.

The mirror measures 32" x 24" (including frame) and features an exact copy of the classic Peter Grainey designed poster printed onto it. The image is dominated by the 'Physical Rocket' train in the dead centre with routes into London highlighted. In those days, Zep were so huge that they even had to charter extra trains to cope with people coming to London from all over the country. Even the timetable for the 'Zeppelin Express' from Glasgow, Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham, Brighton or Bournemouth was featured on the original poster and even these details have been faithfully recreated on this mirror.

With its iconic wild west style red & yellow 'LED ZEPPELIN' banner spanning the top & the ticket prices & booking agents at the bottom, this image has come to symbolise what was, to many, the ultimate series of Led Zeppelin live shows.
As stated this is Mel Bush's personal copy from his archive and has a signed letter from Mel Bush on his own headed paper to substantiate authenticity.
The letter, on Mel Bush Organisation Ltd headed notepaper, is typed :-

"TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

This is to certify that this Mirror was produced by me to celebrate Led Zeppelins Earls Court 1975.

I presented a Mirror to each member of Led Zeppelin and retained this personal archive mirror, which you now own

Yours Sincerely,
[Signature of Mel Bush]
Mel Bush
Managing Director"
.
With each of the acts promoted by Mel Bush, once a successful tour or concert had taken place, Mel would commission a commemorative plaque or mirror as a souvenir of the event. Usually these would be presented to the artist, with an additional one kept in his own personal archive.

Now semi-retired, Mel has decided to part with his treasured archive of mirrors and plaques and we have been enlisted to help him find good homes for his collection.

An incredible AUTHENTIC piece of history that we are proud to be able to offer for the first time. With this item there is no lottery - It IS exactly what it says it is and despite being 33 years old it remains in pristine condition, free from discolouration or tarnishing having been preserved in bubble wrap in the Mel Bush archive since it was commissioned.

**Due to the size, weight and fragility of this item we would request that potentional customers contact us directly by phone or email to discuss delivery/collection options.**
