HUE AND CRY Open Soul (2008 UK 12-track CD album - Returning with the first album in 16 years, 'Open Soul' boasts an energetic combination of the band's classic pop soul sound and fresh, crisp and sometimes stripped down production – think crunchy, soulful guitar riffs in the same sonic vicinity as wailing trumpet solos. The album features familiar sounding Hue and Cry jewels like the opening track 'Fireball' and title track 'Open Soul', but also features a cover version of Beyonce's 'Crazy In Love' which is equally as thrilling and colourful as any of the original tracks on the album, housed in a fold-out digipak picture sleeve. There is just a little shelfwear to the sleeve but the disc appears in 'as new' condition BLAIR1)
