COUNT BASIE At The Savoy Ballroom 1937 (1971 UK 9-track vinyl LP, in the Immortal Sessions series. Consists of transcriptions from the broadcast of June 30th, 1937, seven days before they recorded the famous One O'Clock Jump for Decca, featuring one of the greatest bands of all time, with solo contributions from two highly revered names in jazz: Lester Young & Billie Holiday. Buck Clayton, Jo Jones & many more can be heard here, stompin' at the Savoy! front laminated picture sleeve. The sleeve shows light wear to the unlaminated reverse and the vinyl is Excellent with the odd light sign of play PAN6903)
