THE CECIL TAYLOR QUARTET Looking Ahead! (1960 UK first issue 6-track deep groove mono LP on the yellow Contemporary label - Playful & accessible avant-garde jazz from the pianist backed by Earl Griffith, Buell Niedlinger & Dennis Charles. A really fine set of snappy, forward-thinking recordings that are far less exhausting than Cecil's later work! The flipback picture sleeve [VG+] is fully laminated with some light creasing from ring wear & the odd minor spot of corner discolouring. The vinyl is nice & clean & in Excellent condition with few signs of play LAC12216)
