UK Tour 75

THIN LIZZY UK Tour 75 (2008 UK issue CD album containing the complete concert plus the 'Sound Check Jam' all fully remastered [under the band's supervision] direct from the master tape, these 15 tracks were recorded for a special live radio broadcast on their UK tour in November 1975 while promoting their latest album 'Fighting'. Included are an early prototype version of 'The Cowboy Song' [which later appears on the 'Jailbreak' album] which Phil titles here as 'Derby Blues' plus a great version of their early rock stomper ’Little Darling’ which was originally recorded by an earlier line-up of the band and which they dropped from their live sets, soon after this tour, presented in a mini-LP style card picture, complete with a picture inner sleeve plus 20-page color booklet with over 30 previously un-seen live photos from US rock photographer Carl Dunn and British rock specialist Robert Ellis plus extensive liner notes from Lizzy drummer Brian Downey which include his thoughts on the band’s status in 1975, comments about the tour, set list and his favourite songs to play live!)
