The Beatles' First

THE BEATLES The Beatles' First (Very rare original 1964 German-only 12-track MONO LP on a red Polydor label, recorded in Hamburg 1961 & featuring Tony Sheridan & guests. This album was not issued in the UK in 1964 although the content did appear later in 1967 with a different picture sleeve. This record is now half a century old old but remains in stunning condition with little evidence of play. Housed in a unique fully laminated sleeve, see 'More Info' for full details... LPHM46432)

The labels are red Polydor labels & are perfectly clean and free from writing, with no traces around the spindle area indicating very little play.

The vinyl retains a beautiful lustre & is a staggering one previous owner example, bought from new in the UK as a rare & exotic import at the time of release & kept neatly in storage ever since... until now. There are no marks of any kind on the vinyl. It has retained a bright shine, despite being half a century old! 'Made In Germany' is machine stamped into the run-off groove along with the catalogue number.

The sleeve is silk laminated with no tears or creasing & just a few faint storage scuffs. All text is clearly legible including along the spine, & condition is very much Excellent with no defects or further worries. Considering the scarcity and historical value of this LP, not least its jawdropping condition, we consider this an essential purchase.
