GEORGIE FAME & THE BLUE FLAMES Do The Dog (1964 UK Columbia white with red block 'A' demo label 2-track 7" vinyl single, also including a version of the Miracles' Shop Around - the band's first release with Georgie promoted as the lead artist, with both sides taken from the classic 'Rhythm & Blues At The Flamingo' album. Both labels have 'Demonstration Record Not For Sale' text boldly printed in black either side of the original 4-prong push-out centre which remains intact with the 'KT' tax code clearly visible. From the vast personal archive of a former music reviewer and journalist, this copy has been carefully stored away for more than 30 years. There are some light, inaudible scuffs and marks on the B-side, most likely from storage and handling rather than play [as indicated by the lack of spindle marks around the centre hole on both labels]; the A-side grades as near MINT!
