ART PEPPER Living Legend (80s UK Boplicity issue of the 1975 6-track LP first released on Contemporary, with a particularly scary rhythm section comprising Hampton Hawes, Charlie Haden & Shelly Manne. This was Pepper's comeback album after fifteen years of fighting drug addiction & prison time, caught here putting the 'hard' into 'hard bop'. The picture sleeve shows only a little light wear & the vinyl looks barely played COP014)
