DUKE ELLINGTON & HIS FAMOUS ORCHESTRA The Ellington Era 1927-1940 Volume 1 (1963 UK 48-track set of three LPs on a 'rough' textured CBS label, issued as three parts of the Volume 1 series, housed in their respective front laminated flipback picture sleeves, complete with double-sided insert featuring an essay on 'The Ellington Mystique' penned by Leonard Feather. All sleeves show just a little light shelfwear with minimal edge scuffing & the vinyl is flawless - a great set at a greatprice! BPG62178/9/80)
