CHARLIE CHRISTIAN The Genius Of The Electric Guitar (Scarce 2002 US 98-track advance promotional 4-CD set for the forefather of the electric guitar, he was among the first to use the then-new technology in the late '30s. This set is a powerful celebration of Christian's legacy, as a young man playing alongside some of the giants of his day, he held his own. Beautifully mastered, the tracks here include 17 previously unreleased performances and 27 never previously issued in the US. Custom printed discs and housed in a double fact case with custom picture inserts with biography text and tracklisting inside)
