ELTON JOHN Evening Standard News Stand Poster (1975 UK news stand poster for the June 18th special edition of the London Evening Standard, issued to publicise Elton's biggest selling British concert that took place at Wembley that week. In full colour and spread over two sides with the headline 'Elton Fantastic!', three full size shots are featured as well as an album back catalogue advertisement, plus the 44-page newspaper [only 6p!] itself, which displays a front page article on Elton's huge success in the industry. Given the thin paper stock the poster was printed on, the condition is superb. Although folded, there are no splits or heavy creasing and the vast majority of these would simply have been discarded the following day!)
