JOHN COLTRANE Anthology (1974 Japanese-only 16-track stereo 3-LP vinyl box set, on black Impulse labels with red border/ multi-coloured boxed ABC logo. Collects a number of Coltrane's most highly regarded recordings for the label, includingfour previously unreleased session tracks, along with Afro-Blue, Crescent and Kulu Se Mama. Housed in a textured box with pasted unique picture design, 12-page illustrated booklet and 'Impulse' obi-strip both in black & silver. There is a small cellotape repair and scuffing on the spine of the box plus some edge wear on the base of the box, but it remains in excellent condition. There is just one small mark on the first track on side 1 of the vinyl, otherwise the vinyl is in near mint condition. A very nice copy of this scarce box set! IMP-9038C)
