This was actually written, recorded & produced by Peter Shelley as the first release on his new Magnet label. Much to his surprise, he found himself having to find an 'Alvin Stardust' at short notice to perform on Top Of The Pops when the record became a big UK hit - step forward Mr Shane Fenton. The vinyl shows light evidence of play and comes issued in the Magnet company die-cut paper sleeve MAG1)
