THE BEATLES The Beatles (Super rare original 1968 UK 30-track MONO double vinyl LP on the dark green Apple label with 'Sold In UK' label text, complete with black die-cut inners, the four colour prints and fold-out photo collage/lyric poster, all mint. The fully laminated, embossed, individually numbered, top-opening Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold picture sleeve with internal flipbacks remains in superb condition with bright, clean laminate, secure flipbacks, perfect spine and no discolouration. Already something special, the vinyl is also near mint. If this wasn't enought to whet your appetite, maybe if we told you that the number on the front is an incredibly low 0000095 & this copy is accompanied by a letter of provenance from the original owner explaining how he was given it in the Savile Row office of Apple on the day of release! The sleeve and all its contents are beautifully clean, white and unmarked, in EX+/NM condition. The printing of the number, so often worn, is clear & sharp.

The Apple labels are clean with 'Sold in the UK subject to' text. The matrix numbers are as follows -

Side One XEX 709-2
Side Two XEX 710-1
Side Three XEX 711-1
Side Four XEX 712-1

The vinyl is simply amazing, with just a few light cosmetic surface marks visible upon close inspection, with very little indication of play at all.

The discs would realistically be graded EX+/NM !

A truly remarkable copy, yet still the main point of interest has to be the extremely low number printed on the front of the sleeve, which is a clearly printed 'No. 0000095', indicating an almost certain Apple/EMI connection. The covering letter from the previous owner explains how he was given it while doing contract work at the Savile Row offices of Apple as he happened to be working there on the day the album was released.

Good luck trying to find another example in this incredible condition. Better luck still to find a copy with a lower number than this.

With this copy, you can't lose.

As an investment item, it is 100%. As a pristine copy of the White Album, it is also 100%. A one of a kind !
